SOIF TOTALE

Soif Totale was born out of a "soif" (French for "thirst") — a soif to create, to perform, and to share our passion with the world. This project grew out of three intense years at the École Supérieure des Arts du Cirque (ESAC) — the place that brought us together across three continents, five languages, and twelve different countries. At ESAC, we poured our hearts and souls into circus — the art form we all love. Now, four years in as a professional company, we’ve laughed, cried, danced, argued, sweated, grown, created — and done a million other things together. We are a unique collective in Belgium, here to help shape the future of contemporary circus. The creation of our first show, DIVE IN, marked the beginning of our artistic journey. Then, in 2022 and 2023, we created the street performance PROLOGUE, which has taken us across borders and through dozens of shows — and is still on tour today. Alongside the collective work, members of Soif Totale also create their own projects in smaller constellations called BONUS. Soif Totale is also a space for sharing — a network of resources and mutual support, holding each other up in this wild artistic world. 

After a period of internal changes and work on our collective’s organization, SOIF TOTALE is now preparing a new creation. We’re excited for what’s ahead — still thirsty to perform with and for you. See you on stage!
