The story of three friends who do not wish to grow up. An acrobatic ode to the imagination in which we may find an aerial rig, a costume change, a piece of toast, a stack of three women, a pair of rose tinted glasses, an absurd conversation, a guitar, a song, a scream. Three circus artists expressing themselves through a blend of ground and aerial acrobatics, dance, theater, and live music. Join us in rejecting societies expectations! Laugh with us as we dance to forget our troubles! It’s a show that will amaze anyone who dreams of colorful freedom: kids, teens, and adults alike! Welcome to the Lune Bleue universe.
The company
La Lune Bleue Founded in 2021, La Lune Bleue brings together three countries, three cultures, three languages… and perhaps even more remarkably, three women. We first met in 2018 at the École supérieure des arts du Cirque (ESAC) in Brussels. Since then, we’ve become much more than friends: we support each other — literally and figuratively — in our lives, our creations, and our ambitions; through doubts, laughter, and a good dose of kindness.
Over the course of four summers, this show has taken us through Switzerland, Belgium, Germany, France, and Austria — and we can’t wait to keep exploring, because jusque-là, it’s been so beautiful.
